About the Architecture Degree Program
Lawrence Technological University’s online Master of Architecture (M.Arch) is NAAB accredited and can be completed in as little as 15 months. Our online and campus offerings share the same curriculum that combines synchronous and asynchronous experiences with a focus on project-based learning to support the development of each student.
As part of the Integrated Path to Architectural Licensure (IPAL) initiative, qualified students in our program are given the opportunity to expedite their path to licensure while earning their degree.
Ways to Earn Your Master of Architecture Degree Online
To better serve prospective students with different educational backgrounds, we offer three (3) tracks. Each track allows for students to pursue a future in architecture while continuing to work.
Students with a Bachelor’s in Architecture – Track II
For students who have earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from LTU or a comparable institution.
Students with an Undergraduate Degree other than Architecture – Track III
This option specifically welcomes students who come to LTU with accomplishments and interests in other fields of inquiry with the expectation that such students will bring their interests and skills into the practice of architecture.
Students with an Undergraduate Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Design – Track IV
Intended for students who hold an undergraduate degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Design.
“LTU’s M.Arch program has pushed me to do some of my best and most thoughtful design work. I appreciate that the online option provides the same body of knowledge as the on-campus studio, especially with intelligent professors. The online program gives me more flexibility with my career outside of school and the freedom to live away from the main campus.”
