Architecture and Design at LTU

The College of Architecture and Design (CoAD) is dedicated to a pedagogy of “theory and practice,” the motto of Lawrence Technological University. We have been teaching architecture for more than 50 years and has become one of the largest architecture schools in the country. LTU’s College of Architecture + Design offers a NAAB-accredited Online Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree program and certificate programs. The College of Architecture + Design ranked the #3 Architecture school in the nation by Grad Reports and is also a member of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA).

Degrees in Architecture

The field of architecture is constantly evolving, and architects with graduate degrees are in high demand. We offer 3 different tracks to better serve student’s differing educational backgrounds. All tracks are ideal for prospective architects who wish to continue their architectural studies and earn a master’s degree while continuing to work.

Students with a Bachelor’s in Architecture – Track II

For students who have earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from LTU or a comparable institution.

Students with an Undergraduate Degree other than Architecture – Track III

This option specifically welcomes students who come to LTU with accomplishments and interests in other fields of inquiry with the expectation that such students will bring their interests and skills into the practice of architecture.

Students with an Undergraduate Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Design – Track IV

Intended for students who hold an undergraduate degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, or Environmental Design.
